Rafe's Radar on CNET News today posted the following:
New users to Facebook (and probably some existing users, but not all of them yet) are getting a new search experience in Facebook starting Monday. The new interface for search makes it possible to see all public results from Facebook users (the Everyone filter), or just results from your friends. Or, as before, only Events, Groups, or Applications.

I'm really looking forward to try this feature, as it is what distinguishes Facebook from Twitter. With this "Everyone"-Approach it might well be that Facebook steals some of Twitters audience. Especially as the audience of Facebook is almost 10x the size of the audience of Twitter and it features one thing that Twitter lacks: Building Groups.
I hope this pushes Twitter in a direction where they adopt Facebook Features in return. It's good they get some pressure... especially now that friendfeed got acquired by Facebook.
